Director of Music

Soprano and Conductor, Octavia is a fierce advocate for vocal music. She prides herself on a devotion to contemporary works and is especially interested in programming composers with less representation in the Western Canon. After receiving her B.M. in 2013 in Vocal Performance from Cornish College of the Arts, she performed, conducted, and taught until beginning studies at Yale University in 2016. She graduated from the Yale School of Music with her M.M. in Choral Conducting and Institute of Sacred Music Certificate in 2018. Since then, she has been a full time church-musician and music teacher, and has also worked as a performer in classical and non-classical capacities. Her other passions include composition, songwriting, guitar, visual arts, and the Great Northwest. View more about Octavia on her website.
