David was born and raised in Montana but has been in Seattle since 1985. He comes to Magnolia UCC after retiring following 22 years as Church Administrator and Leadership Team Member at University Congregational United Church of Christ. Prior to that, he was Associate Director of Multifaith AIDS Project of Seattle (MAPS). Before MAPS, he was a banker for seventeen years. David’s spouse Rev. Tim Devine recently retired as pastor of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Ballard. They have hopes of some travel, time with family and friends, and continuing to clean out closets and cupboards. David is also catching up on some reading. David is delighted to be at MUCC and to help support and encourage the ministry of this wonderful congregation.
