To the Prospective Wedding Party

On behalf of the church family at Magnolia United Church of Christ, we rejoice with you in your wedding! We are honored to help you plan a memorable ceremony and reception to mark this sacred and joyous occasion.

We will work with you to make sure your wedding is as distinctive as you are. We invite you to attend worship and get to know us better. The better we know you, the better your wedding will be. Our wedding team looks forward to working with you! 

After you have checked with the Church Administrator at 206.283.1788 regarding available dates, the next step is to schedule a tour so you can get all your questions answered.

I am very pleased to perform weddings. I will want to meet with you to get acquainted and to help you have a meaningful ceremony. If you wish to have a minister from another church participate in the ceremony, that’s okay too! We ask that you please simply let us know right away.

We can provide you all the information necessary to assure that the wedding and surrounding tasks run smoothly. We look forward to working with you and assisting in making this a special and memorable time.

Wedding Ceremonies

Sanctuary Ceremony (maximum 200 guests). . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  $1,750*
Covers use of the Sanctuary, Parlor, Narthex, and two dressing rooms for four hours + Pastor, Organist /Pianist, “Day of” Event Coordinator and Custodian. Sanctuary Service fee is due 30 days prior to your wedding.

*A $250 refundable security/damage deposit + completed registration form secures your date. Security/damage fee will be retained if wedding is canceled and will be returned within 30 days following the wedding as long as no overtime hours, damage or exceptional cleaning is required.

Participation of minister or organist from another church is subject to approval and does not affect above stated fee structure.

Wedding Receptions
*A $250 refundable security/damage deposit + completed building usage agreement form secures your date. Usage fees are due 30 days prior to event. Security/damage fee will be retained if event is canceled and will be returned within 30 days following the event as long as no overtime hours, damage or exceptional cleaning is required.

Parlor Reception (maximum 50 guests) . . . . . . $550
Total cost of reception is due 30 days prior to event. Your rental includes use of the Parlor and Narthex for a total of four hours to set up, decorate, operate, teardown and clean up. We suggest one hour for set up, three hours for event and clean up.

Use of tables, chairs, restrooms and Parlor kitchenette for staging food.

Facilities Coordinator and Custodian.

Pilgrim Hall Reception (Maximum guests seated 200 / standing 250 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $1,550
Total cost of reception is due 30 days prior to event.
Your rental includes use of Pilgrim Hall for a total of five hours to set up, decorate, operate, teardown and clean up. We suggest one and a half hours for set up, three and a half hours for event and clean up. We are surrounded by private homes, so all receptions must conclude by 10:00 pm, or earlier, regardless of when they begin.

Use of tables, chairs, restrooms and Pilgrim Hall kitchen for staging food.

Use of sound system (our Facilities Coordinator must be present for use of sound system)
